Yep it does,I went to find it on wikipedia yesterday and I think I read the book last year.
Book Title: No One You Know
Author: Michelle Richmond
Why you enjoyed it: It was interesting and unexpected reading who actually murdered the main character's sister. Everyone thought that it was her teacher who did it but actually it wasn't him.
A rating out of 5: 3.5/5
Book Title: Red Queen Series
Author: Victoria Aveyard
Genre: fantasy, Sci-Fi, romance
Why you enjoyed it: I actually didn't enjoy it until the second half of the second book into the third book, so I'm writing this coming off a reading high. I finished book 3 (500 pages in under 24 hrs with breaks .__.) in a really bad nutshell it's about mutant royalty nobles and normal commoners and takes place in the distant future of a divided USA
A rating out of 5: 4/5, waiting for the last and 4th book to come out
I didn't finish my 2017 reading challenge ;-;. I'l have to try harder this year
Check out the new poll my dudes <3
My friends hyped it up for me, but it just led to disappointment. I couldn't even finish the book.
I wish I could have liked 13 Reasons Why. I was so excited for it when I bought it, I even stayed up late to finish it. I rarely hate books, because you know authors spend tonssss of time writing their books & what not, but I honestly can say that this book is one of two books that I absolutely hate.
Ooh im glad there's a thread like this!
My reading challenge was 20 books this year and I managed to read 24 books so I'm really happy for that. I set my new challenge with 40 books so I hope I can complete it! Currently I'm reading The Golem And The Jinni, I like it so far.
So I'm curious do any of you have certain reading goals or challenges this year?
Congrats on reaching your goal! ♥
I don't think I'm going to set up a specific number of books I want to read this year; I just want to read at a better pace? If that makes any sense. I'm the type of reader to go through books one after another & then go through a slump & not read for weeks. It sucks, because I really, really enjoy reading.
My reading challenge is also 40 books ^^
Mess i barely read last year....... Finding new books is so hard for me.....
Same I need book recommendations fast... I’m becoming more illiterate by the second
Try signing up for goodreads its a good way to track books you have have read and find new ones
I was reading the throne of glass books last i didn't even finish them...
The worst when you take a break from a book and leave it so long that you just stare at it on a shelf like “do I really want to try and figure out where I left off and what was happening”
YES! It's even worse when you have all the books, but you don't want to finish them.
I read this book in class and I was so angry because I hated and everyone was hyping it and it was TERRIBLE and I read the entire book just to say that this book is horrible. Like you said, it was so unrealistic that even if I was trying to think "this is only a book, it doesn't matter if it's not realistic" I just couldn't....
Tbh, John Green's books are whatever, Paper Towns was better than TFIOS, but not by much.
I have them all but the newest one.... And its not like i didn't enjoy then because i did.
i edited my post because i have changed quite a bit over the past year and think that i sound harsh in my post.
maybe you want to check out the edited version idk.
i think my problem was that this book was kind of promoted as this really relatable piece of work, which is why i was a little irritated with how things turned out because to me it wasn't that realistic. but that's just my opinion.
