The activity of the original poster (OP) of an official thread is important to keep the thread active and updated. We have put down some rules regarding OPing official threads and the criteria that needs to be met if an OP should be changed. If the OP is inactive for a certain period of time, users can ask for the OP user to be changed. Inactivity of an OP: - Member Official Threads: Up to one month inactivity on the forum. - OTPs Threads: Up to two months inactivity on the forum. - Other Official Threads: Up to three month inactivity on the forum. *inactive as in has not logged in the forum at all through out that time. How to ask for an OP to be changed? - The OP must be inactive for a certain period of time (according to the type of thread). - The user that would like to the OP must first make a post in the thread and inform the other users that they would like to take over. - The user will post in the mod thread that the OP has been inactive and also link that they had informed other users from the thread regarding changing OPs. What if the OP is active on the forum but not the thread? - You can encourage the OP via conversations (pm) to be more active and update the thread or you may ask them to hand over the thread if they are unable to keep it updated. If you have any more questions, you can ask here or in the mod thread.
